A binaural mix of a sound piece created in response to this Basho poem;

“Even the temple bells seem to be ringing in the cicada’s cry."

As an exercise in creative limitation, no field recordings were used, only a limited set of studio recordings. Originally mixed in a 16 channel ambisonic speaker arrangement  but converted here for headphone listening.
